Reactive dye is a class of dye that makes a covalent bond with the fiber and becomes an integral part of the fiber. These are usually used to dye cellulosic fibers such as cotton, rayon, or flax, but polyamide, wool, silk, and acetate fibers can also be dyed using reactive dyes. Reactive dyes are so-called because this is the only type of dye that has a reactive group. This group reacts chemically with the fiber polymer molecules to form covalent bonds. This covalent bond is formed between the reactive group and terminal –OH group of cellulosic fibers and terminal –NH2 group of polyamide and wool fiber.
Bhagwati Group is a Leading Reactive Dyes Manufacturer, Supplier & Exporters in India, Egypt, Vietnam and Indonesia. Our Reactive dyes are a class of highly coloured organic substances, primarily used for tinting textiles, that attach themselves to their substrates by a chemical reaction that forms a covalent bond between the molecule of dye and that of the fibre.Major products are manufecture by us. however we source products which are not manufectured by us to satisfy the demand of our valuable customer. The dyestuff thus becomes a part of the fibre and is much less likely to be removed by washing than are dyestuffs that adhere by adsorption. Reactive dyes are the most versatile and popular class of organic dye for importing color on cellulosic fibers. As the name suggests, these dyes chemically react with cellulose to form a covalent bond between a dye molecule and cellulose.
